Normandy Inn, Carmel-by-the-Sea

I was lucky to find Normandy Inn during my stay in Carmel By The Sea. The room was like a Motel 6 but spacious and well-located, allowing for a good airflow through the room. The service was very efficient and apologetic about any issues that arose, creating a friendly atmosphere. The hotel's location made it easy for me to visit my local family and enjoy walking to the beach and nearby shops and restaurants. The dining experience, although not what I hoped for, was still decent, with room for improvement. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory, offering a comfortable stay.

My stay at the hotel was average overall. The room felt more like a suite with a great shower and a king bed, but the lighting in the bathroom was a bit lacking. The service was not very friendly, especially for the rooms that offered nothing. The location was excellent, right on Ocean Ave and close to the beach, ideal for exploring the area. The dining options were good but could be available earlier for early risers. Overall, it was a decent stay with some room for improvement.
